The problem
New singers and performers had no simple way to record something decent on a phone, clean it up, and put it in front of people in one place.
What I built
- Record audio or video in the app.
- Edit on the phone: trim with a range slider, merge audio with video and change the resolution with FFmpeg.
- Upload to YouTube through the YouTube Data API with resumable uploads, so a dropped connection does not restart the upload.
- Discover new talent, tracks and videos, and chat and call other users.
- Admin app and web app: an Android admin app and an AngularJS web app with social sign-in.
